She even stated in her auction "This Topper appears to have the wiring and should be in working condition.".  Ummm, no.  If it weren't for my soldering abilities and Foster's previous posts - this could have really sucked!  Anyway, I WILL be leaving negative feedback.

You all need to stop with this negative feedback crap just because you think it should be in perfect working order when the auction clearly states that it appears to have the wiring and should be in working condition.  This means, and I believe she states this, that she has no way of testing these items and is selling them AS-IS.

If you don't want it, send it back.  Negative feedback is for sellers who rip you off, send you broken merchandise that was stated as new or in perfect working condition or damaged in shipping due to poor packaging on the seller's part and subsequent difficulties when dealing with the seller in an attempt at getting a refund.  Just because you're pissed off that you had to fix a surface mount part to get it working doesn't warrant negative feedback.  A lot of these casino parts that show up on the secondary market are used and possibly broken or in need of a little TLC to regain full functionality.  That's why they're on the secondary market.  DUH.  If you all bought something from me on eBay that I stated was as-is because I couldn't test it and you left me negative feedback because it didn't work, I'd ban your ass from bidding on my auctions too.

I often buy items that haven't been tested and expect that some won't work, I wouldn't leave negative feedback in a situation like this either.  In a case like Wes or Barry had where the item was broken or said to be in good condition and was crap, well that's different.

Thanks,
Wayne

I have been meaning to post these pictures for awhile now, mainly to thank Stout for all his hard work and effort to bring this beauty back to life.  He offered to help me get this up and running again.  I lost count but I think we shipped it back in forth at least 4 times...LOL.....it's pretty well traveled.  I would guess the topper was a Katrina victum as there was some seaweed and some other artifacts found inside.  But it seemed too unique of a topper to just let it go.  Stout rebuilt it from the inside out and now it purrs like a kitten again....a real beauty.

So if you see Stout around please give him some Karma for me (like he needs anymore  rotflmao ) ...thanks again.  Hail

Also, if anyone would have any information on the machine type / game title it was originally on I would be curious to know.

Sometime about a year when I was working on that topper,
someone had put one up on ebae...it sold for quite a bit! money money
There was a photo floating around on the internet with
those "Welcome To Las Vegas" toppers on a few banks of machines -
I sure wish I would of kept it! Duh!

That topper comes from a Neon Nights I-Game...   I've been looking for one of those for years to no avail.  CONGRATS!!

Well, I came across this today and found the topper depicted with this machine VERY interesting. Even the spec sheet has the topper on it as well. Here is the IGT game flyer in pdf and I pulled a picture from it as a tease, whatya think?
