Joey   Why not nuke the members that haven't filled out their profile ??   If you want I can drive over and give you a hand with that chore.  Maybe I can slip if a few that have pissed me off over the years, (watch out Bunker).  stir the pot / get cooking stir the pot / get cooking

It does seem faster but of course Laughlin is down hill from Canada.......

What do you mean the high scores got reset. Do you know how flipping hard I had to work to get that Tetris Score.
I ignored my kids from 8 - 12 .... thats 3 years I lost with them ..... and now I will lose 17 - 20..... your mean Joey just mean.....    Cry Laughing

Big difference on how fast the pages load now. I use to notice a delay just as the page was finishing and that's gone.

Do you get access to your MySQL database directly or is that handled by the host? If you have access to it, I'd be happy to take a look at your slow query logs to see if there is anything that could be done to increase individual query performance. I'm less strong in MySQL when compared to SQL Server but I support two applications in MySQL here at my company currently along with the 100 databases I have on SQL Server.

And if I'm of no help whatsoever, you'll only be out your initial investment of $free  frying pan

yes that's the list we where told to do by our hosting CO. if we wanted the site to go back up live.....  Smiley
You all do know that the site was turned off by hostgator.......   it did not crash....... it was turned off with out any warning by HG..... Hmmmmm

No, we didn't know that.  That's BS for them to do that.

Perhaps it's time to find a new host that won't dick you around?  I host my SMF forum through WebzPro and I've been very happy with them.  Food for thought, at least.

Ok, here is another reason I really hate that this useful feature is gone. When using the 'Show unread posts' method  knockout , if you click on one of the 'new' items but dont pay attention to where the thread is located, when you go back to the 'Show unread posts'  knockout it is now gone (because it's not new any more), and if you want to go back to it again before someone else posts, you have to try and hunt it down some other way.  knockout knockout knockout knockout knockout

Did I mention that I hate that this usefull feature is gone?  censored

Thanks.  yes If it's an issue, I can live without it (maybe  arrow ).  It's just a little frustating when you have done something a certain way since day one and then have to change. Us old farts don't adapt to change easily (the reason I still use XP in classic mode).  Tongue Out
