I've been thinking , Can a V5500  be changed to a V7000?  If so what parts would you need?
From what I can find , the MPU, Backplane and all of the wiring that connects to the backplane
would need to be changed.

Is this possible or is it just a dream?

If you are doing it to learn, very good. If you are doing it because you need a 7000, geeez.......no......too much work. That might be like converting an S+ to an S2000..............no

Why bother? By the time you've finished, you'll have ended up putting all of the guts of a V7000 into a V5500 cabinet. I can't see any benefit.

What I was trying to do was get multiple games without the $1200
Game Maker price tag.
