Looking for help with this, so far I've made little progress.  No activity beyond some 'Coin In' LED's & 'Winnner Paid" LED's lit on start-up.  Power supply has all the correct voltages.

First thing to do on a japanese Pachislo (it looks like that is what you have) is to do a reset of the machine.  for help on resetting a standard Pachislo,  please look at this link.  http://www.stealthhomeamusement.com/repr.html

If that does not solve your problem,  then unplug the machine and re-seat ALL connections

next,  if the machine takes a coin,  and registers it...check the spin knob.  the switch may be dirty and not making good contact.

If the machine is not registering a coin, it will drop through to the bottom tray.  check to make sure the mech is clean.  The pachislo coin accepters use an electric eye to see the coin inserted.  this is located on the coin mech after the coin rolls down the metal slide.  this slide will only allow tokens...Quarters will slip off it.

Hope that gets you started...good luck

Will try this.   I previously tried the "Test--Reset" toggle in both positions, but didn't get any action out of it, both when I just flipped it briefly and when held on position for a few seconds.

The side key (I'm guessing the Jackpot Reset) has been removed from the circuit-it's there but not connected.

Thanks for the reply and stayed tuned.

On most machines...a reset is done in the folloween steps...must foloow them exact

1  Turn off machine
2  Turn reset/odds key to the right. (it should turn 90 degrees, and is located in the machine on the power supply control panel bottom left.
3   Turn the machine on
4   on the inside of the door,  there is a small round flat button.  when pressed,  the led display on the front of the machine (Usually coins won display)will  show a number 1 through 6.  Pressing this button will change the numbers.  the lower the number,  the more frequent small wins, the higher the number,  less small wins,  more bonus wins.
5   when the odds is set at (whatever you want)   PRESS the Spin knob down and hold it for a few seconds.   this will reset the machine.
6  turn key back to upright position.  Do not turn off machine to do this.     when the key is back up to position,  the machine is ready to play.  Close door and try.

This really isn't a pachislo, it's a Vegas slot from when TDC Takasago was supplying them to the casinos.  This one came out of the Imperial Palace.  The only key on it beside the door lock is the outside top right near a speaker or vent, and it's been removed from the circuit.

I have a pachislo machine and I see what you're telling me about resetting, etc., but there's no way to do this on this machine that I can tell.

Thanks for the help, if you know of anything or anyone else who understands these machines, please steer them my way.

Again, thanks

Maybe you could add a couple pictures to jog peoples memories about these machines??? I don't think I have ever seen one of these machines. Even with the thumbnail feature on the new software, it is still best to resize your picture to 800x600 as the larger pictures are hard to view due to lousy scrolling on the forum.

Thanks for the suggestion, I overlooked the fact that I had posted photos on the previous site.  Never said I was smart.

Did you ever get this thing going? I bought one and it's missing the panel where the fuses and the power switches are mounted, if you still around can you take picture of the wiring and post it, because no one really have any information about this machine.

Thanks
