NEED A MANUAL FOR KONAMI SPARKLING SEVENS WON'T "RESET" TRYING TO FIND A WORK AROUND FOR THE EL KEY..

steel case, is located on the MCTB and is used as a clear chip, set

The folks at Konami are very smart. I don't believe there is any kind of "work around" for lack of an EL Key. I am going out to my slot guy next week to pick up a load of machines, I know he has some EL Keys. I will see what he wants to part with one. I lucked out with the one I got from a guy in I think it was FL. and paid $250.00. they are hard to find and some are even harder to pay for. I've seen them as high as $1000.00

damn those keys go for that much?i got mine for 100 and my friend got like three of them. are all the keys the same?

NO. You want "RCGLI0010", it has a red tag. this is a do all for K2V 1.5 & KGI 2.0

I got mine for $50, but there's exceptions to every rule and for the most part they are hard to find and go for over $200 each. I have noticed a few more showing up lately though. Either it's the high profit margin or there's just more available due to machines being retired

I think it's because more machines are being made available and the big time buyers that buy a truckload or 2 at a time have to take what's on the truck and are scared of Konami's, and therefor just get rid of them cheap. I now have about 12 2.0's and 5 1.5's and all but one are working great cause of the magic key. I am confused as to why I got a Yellow level 1 key with each of the 1.5 video machine, when the red level 0 key is a do all.

Probably jist like S2000 keychips. Yellow was the key for that machine at that time. Red is newer and works backward on older models

With the Konami's all the yellow keys are game specific. you must the the key with the game's name on it. but I can't see that is dose anything. We need a Konami guru to chime in.
