I've got a couple of Ithica 850s that I'm trying to get working in my Alpha S9000 but each of them act intermittent. Will someone with an S9000 print-out the firmware on there Ithica 850 and let me know what works. I can't find a listing for the proper firmware and there are at least 20 versions on the Ithica FTP.

I couldn't find PP8589 52 on the Transact FTP.  The current Firmware on my printer is PE8593 Rev 53. What's the difference between PE and PP on the firmware. Can I use the loader to upgrade the firmware or do I need to burn it with my GQ-4X? I've made a test harness and can run PJTerminal and M80Load from my laptop.
