I have a Bally Gamemaker 7000 with a soft CRT that has some burns in it. I need to figure out how best to solve this problem.
Option #1 replace the CRT. This is probably the cheapest, but I’m not sure it’s the best solution for the problem.
Option #2 Buy a replacement monitor, like the Ceronix CPA4055. This will be more money, but it leaves me with spare monitor for backup.
Option #3 Try to find a LCD drop in replacement. I don’t know if any one makes this or what the cost would be. I like the idea of no more burn problem & nice bright display.
It has occurred to me that some of you folks have been there & done that. If you would share your experiences and thoughts it sure would help me.
Thanks 2Moons
