Title: Bally Slot Model 1114
Post by: BigBally on May 01, 2013, 05:47:15 PM
Hello: I've heard from several members my new Bally slot could be a Model 1114.  I went to the internet and found the 1114 was a dollar slot.  Mine only takes quarters.  I found on eBay the "Belly" glass for the 1114 was exactly like mine EXCEPT it shows DOLLAR payouts instead of quarters.  Are there various models of the 1114?  Is mine older since it is a quarters only machine OR was it altered?   AND...........Does any member have a manual they can email to me?  Thanks to everyone for your help.  I will include more pictures.

They were called lowboys because all the top unit parts were put in below the reel mech.  They're about all the same mechanically, with the same components, but you might want to contact a vendor here and get the wiring schematic for the 1114.
They made them in all denominations, and you could get complete kits to change them out to whatever coin you wanted. Note that the paytable reads wins in coins not dollar amounts.  The 25 cent sticker can probably be removed and a different denom label could be pasted there.

Hi BigBally,

There should be a data plate on the lower right side.
