I have an IGT S2000 SuperSpin Sizzling 7 Machine.

When I went to turn it on today...... the following Problem developed:

The machine starts up....and reads:

Display passes self test......

Please wait..testing memory (10-15 seconds)

Waiting for Netplex Devices (1 second)

THEN ALL THE REELS TURN ONE SYMBOL DOWN....

Nothing happens for 2-3 seconds and then the machine repeats the above process...over and over and over again.

I tried to use the Operator/Attendant Key but I can not get into the menu.....

DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT TO DO?????  The manual does not provide an answer...any help is appreciated...

And after that, power it back on, let it cycle again, and when it gets to point right before it wants to cycle again, open the door and turn the jackpot key one time....close the door

Unplug your BV and printer and see if those devices are pulling it down.    Do you have another machine?  if so i would try a board swap and power supply swap

Yessir, that's a good way to go at it.  One of the netplex devices might be pulling it down.....or may be one of the power supplies that has partially failed, and if it is it is likely the one behind the reels if it is.

I put in another board.....received a mismatch error message...then was able to use my reset key...turned off the machine...replaced the old original board and turned the machine on....everything worked as normal....

DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEAS WHAT CAUSED THIS PROBLEM....Is this a temp fix??  Was it a bad board? or Power supply??

or Bad Battery???   Any ideas would be appreciated.

As Always...Thanks for your help...

 applause

Could be a weakness in the main battery and for the cost would not hurt to replace it.  Could also be a failing board.  Take a look near the larger green battery to the back left and look for any white residue.  I have found many of these to be leaking and cause problems on the boards circuitry.
