Hello guys,

I have the machine setup and everything works. Printing is fine. From time to time it will give me a validation error when the voucher is printing but is easily cleared by turning the audit key.

After about 30-40 vouchers it gives an error "CB: Validation buffer full"

I tried to set S5-6 S5-7 and S5-8 in different combinations and it still gives me the error.

This is standalone and no network is connected.

thanks,

I have mine set as follows:

Rotary switch S2 is set to 1, all other rotary are set to 0

S5 dips 2, 4 and 5 on, all others off
S8 all off.

Works fine for me.

How is yours set up?

Yes it eventually gets the error.

i tried

doesn't detect printer or accounting system.

what printer do you have?

in the commboard manual it says s5-5 is overtaking progressive meters.

Yes, S5 is for the progressive so they don't lock up so that a lower progressive will overtake a higher one.

Printer is PSA-66-ST

What KKC games are you running?

Ok after ram clear the initial setup detects printer with s5-6 on

But I tried that setting and still gives me an error.

Do you think it could be a printer dip switch problem as well?

I tried both 7 and 9 on and 7,9 and 10 on.

Could be dips on the printer. It's odd that it prints for you that many tickets and eventually errors out

I will reset my machine to your settings this weekend and see if I can duplicate your problem, and let you  know what I come up with.
