A friend was playing my Gamemaker the other night, the machine had about $7000 in credit in it.
I took the cherry switch from the cash/credit button on the deck out so no one can cash it out, but he hit collect on the screen by mistake and now I get the "game disabled - hopper empty" message.
Is there any way to clear that message without doing a saferam clear ?
And is there any way to prevent that from happening in the future ?

RayV,

I don't think you can clear it without more coins in hopper, or ram clear.

In the future you can adjust the hopper drop limit. You will lose remaining credits via jackpot key, attendant pay. Check this under "HOPPER/CREDIT LIMITS" on configuration menu, which you access with door open/ajar and turn jackpot key.

Good Luck, Richard

I had to do the ram clear.
But I did set it up in demo mode per this thread -

It works great, no more loading it up with bills  yes

I don't know if it's true with all versions of Mains, but when I tried demo mode with the 20 22 Mains, I encountered several programming glitches while playing some games. In some cases, the graphics got messed up -- particularly when re-drawing the credits and the cards; in others, the payouts weren't right. All of those issues disappeared once I exited demo mode. YMMV.

<EDIT> Corrected typo from 20 to 22 Mains.

I have 23 mains and the graphics seemed ok for the games I played, but I did not play all of them.
I will try more today after work.
