I play at a local casino called, Green Valley Ranch in Henderson, NV.  It's part of the Stations Casinos chain (you might remember my commercial).  An employee at GVR was playing with another co-worker at a competing casino called, "M", on Friday night.  It's the first casino you come across when you come in from California.  Her friend came over to tell her that he hit $500 on a dollar machine.  She replied that she just hit $17 Million!  They roped off the area and gave her a $300k check that evening.  She's rumored to walk away with $9M.  What's cool is ... she's young, she's single, and she works in the service industry ... nice to see a local win it!  In talking with the GVR staff, she called off of work the next day.
