Hi.

I have a s2000 machine and trying to install a s+ game in it.. i cant really find a good guide online so i thought i would ask

I installed the SB001000 in U21
I installed the Game EPROM in U17, the notch is all the way to the edge, two blank spots are on the opposide of the notch
I also recieved a SP1271... where does that go?

You should not need that SP chip. The game should work without it. Just make sure the version, SB and stepper chips are installed. Also, your S+ "reel" (thanks Jay) chip needs to be 100ns or faster in order to work.

Someone here can correct me if i'm wrong.

No luck..

i turn on the machine and the power supply just goes buzz... squeak.... buzz.. squeak.. and the red lite blinks everytime it goes squeak... the front display doesnt light up what so ever... i put a s2000 kit back in it and the machine still works.. so i know i didnt hurt anything... any ideas???

Ok solve the issue.. i had the offset of the chip in the wrong direction.. boots up now.. however it keeps saying call attendant.. it must be because i have the slower chip...
which chip do i need to replace with a faster one and where do i get one? Thanks

There are several ways to do this....
If you have a burner, buy some faster speed re-writable eproms first.
Copy your reel to your computer's hard drive then re burn the data to the faster blank eprom.

                                                 or

Give one of our vendors a PM message asking them for what you want...these guys have everything just about. yes

I have a "cheap" Top2005 burner. Its USB.
Software is nothing to write home about but it does a good job in backing up and re-writing eproms.

Thanks guys.. i got the burner on order.. just need some blank eproms that are fast enough... which eproms should i order and from where is the best place.. Thanks guys for all the help
