Ok, so I turn one of my games on tonight and after the initial boot up the reels spin and then stop and the hopper just starts droppig coins. I did not press the cashout button and only had 318 credits on the machine to begin with, As the hopper was dropping coins it was not registering each one as they dropped but when the last of the coins dropped into the tray and I got the hopper empty message, it shows on the display the total of coins paid out (which is actually higher than the amount of credits I have on the machine) I can open the door and put all of the coins back into the hopper and close the door back and they just start dropping again and repeats the same cycle. Anyone ever had this happen and if so how did you resolve? The game has been working fine with no problems up to this point. These damn machines have a mind of their own sometimes. Scratch Head

Turn off the machine and try to check the connection of the Hopper maybe grounded. If not, remove the MPU and put it back then turn on the machine or you can try to troubleshoot with machine to machine parts.

Checked the hopper, saw no issues there. I changed the SG chips to 363s and so far all is well.
