Great forum you have here.  Just recently caught the bug and was trying to stay with the s2000, but not sure if this kit would only run on the s+.   Scratch Head  Anyone know if it can be done?

I believe that most, if not all S Plus games will work on an S2000, but you might want to double check, fairly new to the S2000 myself... just got my first s2000 a few weeks ago after having an S Plus for many years.  Obviously the backlit reels won't shine through if your S2000 has those.

All of the S+ stuff works on the S2000 albiet I am not sure if the tournament chips would work the same way.

S+ Tournamnet chips do not work at all in a S2000.
A tournament base chip is required.
As far as I know most SS reel chips work in S2000, there are going to be exceptions

Although Home Run is a buy-a-pay game, it's still a Type 0 game and thus should absolutely work in an S2000.

Using an SB001000 and putting the Home Run game chip in the socket next to the version chip on the S2000 MPU would be the way to set it up. Not sure which SG chips to use, but I'd try the 363's to start with. The SB0001000 is the bridge used to play S+ software on S2000 machines

Also, the S+ game chip must be a 120ns or faster chip to be used in a S2000.

Instead of using the SB001000 bridge and SS3369. Can I use the comparable s2000 specific # SB100283   Scratch Head

Absolutely, anytime there is a S2000 alternative, as long as it is same max bet, you should be OK.Look at the payout tables on both to be sure though
