Title: IGT Keno "Coin in timeout" error Post by: rcoonjr on July 21, 2011, 06:14:41 PM Just as the topic says I've repaired this machine got it running and I keep getting a "Coin in timeout" error. I have to clear the cmos every time to reset it. but when you drop a coin I get this message. On the side note when I use the test button on the opto board it registers credits and will work right. What am I doing wrong... can anyone help me.

If one of the sensors is bad, it would not register the coin passing it. The test button is like a bypass. I know nothing about that machine, but does it have an optics test in the self test mode?

Are you sure you have a Fortune II machine? I agree with Poppo -- test the coin optics using the self test screens if that's available.
