Title: Can anyone help Identify this machine?
Post by: Amachanic on June 05, 2012, 12:24:38 AM
I have a chance to pick up this IGT Poker Machine, but I'm not sure what it is? I found a date inside of 1987. Is this a Fortune II?

Thanks Gary

Is this a Fortune II?

Looks like it to me.   :89-

I've always wondered what IGT was thinking when they put the Deal/Draw button on the glass, rather than next to the Hold/Discard buttons (as they later did with the PE+ and future models).

Why do you say that? We're these that much of a problem to keep working? This one does need some work, has a video out put problem. Not sure if it's a CRT problem or with the power supply? I think I can get it for $25..

mostly the cost of the machine to the casino, they were waaay more expensive than the fortune 1 machines -probably one reason IGT was so apt to scrapping and crushing the earlier F1
the placement of the buttons irritated patrons who cut their teeth on fortune 1s.

not a bad machine, just too many boards and connections to go bad.
