I am having my first party since I have added the three slot machines and I expect that they will draw some attention.  applause I want everyone to play them and have a good time and to also understand that they are for amusement only.  Two of the machines have covers over the coin slots and a button to add credits so no problem there.  The third machine is my large piggyback with an overflowing hopper full of quarters and a flashing light that says CASH OUT  ttth ttth ttth  I  just know that within 5 minutes someone will push the cash out button and think they just won big.  Is there a way I can disable the cashout feature and the the coin in just for party nights?  As NLG Members, How do you handle party nights? Scratch Head

open the door, either unplug the wires from the microswitch, or pull the entire switch off of the button assembly, whichever is easier

I kinda like the finger guillotine idea but.......................I just got them all polished up bust gut laughing Cry Laughing bust gut laughing Cry Laughing

I thought about pulling the wire on the microswitch but thought it would give the machine some kind of error.  I'll try it tonight

if you pull the wire, be sure to put electrical tape around it so that is does not contact something inside your machine.

It's much easier to pull the entire switch out as if you were replacing the lamp. if you do it that way you can leave it inside the holder but loose and the button will still be lit. Keep in mind some are really hard to get to.

I pulled a wire from the microswitch last evening and it worked perfectly.  The cash out light is still on but the button doesn't work.  It was behind a bundle of wires and a little bit difficult to get to, but the results are exactly what I wanted.
