Was poking around Home Depot today in San Antonio and stumbled on a great deal on what I am calling my "Poor Man's Slot Stool".  The were on clearance for $19.95, showing a regular price of $49.95.  I took the 3 they had remaining.  Got home and checked the website to see if price was the same there.  They did come up, but at $39 each, which is still a pretty good deal.  25" high, which makes them just about right.  I am going to try more stores and see if I can find 3 more!  A search for "saddle stool" on the HD website will bring them up if any of you are also looking for an affordable solution for slot stools.  HD item number is 600629.  Looks like they also have black available.
