Does anyone have an internal(underneath) pic of their slant top?  As in the hopper, reels, etc?  Sounds silly, but just need one.  Thanks

You mean like this?
S+; this one has the main board on the left, many have it behind the hopper.

OK, I guess I'm confused: still very much a newbie, with much to learn.
I thought this WAS a slant top (see pic).
I guess a slant-top is a sit-down console machine.
I will watch other responses and learn some more!

Those are great. Any chances of you taking close ups of the door optics on the cabinet and the door?  I'm stuck in this 61 1 code and having issues. I'm thinking the person that owned it before me may have bypassed something or did something funny. I appreciate this a ton. Thank you.

Also maybe of the cabinet locks, latches etc. I want to make sure mine is wired correctly or nothing is missing.

That first pic is of the top lid when it's up correct?  I'm just wondering if my optics are bad. Have you ever had any issues with codes or anything like that. Does your belly cabinet below have anything wired up to the door lock?  Mine is missing the lock, just wondering how those tie into each other.

Yes....1st pic is the optics under the lid.
Nothing is wired to the lock at all and I have never had any trouble with codes that I can remember on that machine.
I am wondering if because yours is missing the lock, that the optics are not aligning correctly?
Sorry I cannot be more helpful...I have had this machine for going on 10 years and I have never had any trouble with it.
If it ain't broke, don't fix it...so I have never even tinkered around inside other than to change game kits every few months or so.

It's missing the lock on the bottom belly door, not the one that contacts with the latch. I just didn't know if the belly door itself had something wired to it or not.

Are you talking about the bottom drop down door?
Below the hopper?
Mine has the lock intact and looks like what used to be a sensor on the inside but the wires are gone

Now this might be a stretch but I did not see anyone mention it in the other thread.
In your picture below, I am pretty sure that the latch must be over the pin for the game to function normally when the door is shut.
I tried to duplicate the latch open on my machine but when I close the door, there is a lever that pushes the latch over the pin as I close the door.
Now seeing as you said that you changed the lock, that lever might not be there anymore
Check the picture and tell me if you have tried that latch over the pin when you close the door.....

The lever is there, it actually came with the lock kit. I stole a generic picture of a lock kit with lever off the internet. This is the lever your talking about correct?

No....its actually part of the hold down latch....I just cannot see it in your picture, its the wrong angle to see it.
I am not sure it will matter anyway...I just checked mine and there are no optics on that part anyway, so that is probably not the problem
I was just pissing in the wind, thinking it might have been an issue after looking at your pics
