I think I messed up good, I was putting a machine back together and put the reel wiring harness on backwards on the board.  The reels just jumped around and would not do anything else.  I replaced all the reels, after changing the harness, now the new reels spin backwards, I have tried doing a ram clear, pressed the self test button, no change.  Anyone know what I need to do to fix this issue.  the machine is a triple sapphires, 2coin.

thanks

Check on your mpu boad and make sure you didn't burn up anything on that.  If  you have another mpu board try that in the machine to see if the reels still spin backwards.  waving flag

Dose it spin backwards as soon as the game starts up or do you have to play a game? Dose it spin slow or normal speed?

I have tried a working mpu board with the same results, the reels spin as soon as I power up the machine.

It is normal for some chips to have the reels do a reverse spin when starting up the game(booting up the MPU).
However, when you begin to actually play, the reels should spin normally.
f not, then then the boards got screwed up because you perhaps changed a board, reel wire harnesses without first turning off the power?
