The PSR

"Program Summary Report":  S+ Stepper Slot,

It gives you the setup options and capabilities for the game. every SP type chip has its own PSR, this is a type 38 game

Mine is a three coin version, there are not to many of them around, it's a fun game to play,

Weather you have the two or three coin version the PSR will be the same

I checked and I don't have the SP968  no

I have SP978, which is for Top Dollar. I'm guessing that they are pretty close in operation.

I found these relevant option settings for the top box. From the looks of it, they will probably work the same way with any top. Only the names have been changed to protect the innocent. arrow

Quote
Top Dollar Bonus Mode
Volume <0> [58]   Determines the volume for the Top Dollar bonus mode.  Options range from off {0} to loudest {10}.
Top Dollar Attract Mode
Timeout <0> [59]   Determines the amount of time, in minutes, before the attract mode begins.  The range is from 0 to 10.  If set to zero, the attract mode is disabled.
...

Top Dollar Test <22>   Activates diagnostic tests (i.e., lights, sounds) for the Top Dollar bonus mode.  Press the Spin Reels player switch to step through the Top Dollar features.  Press the Change switch to activate the test.
Top Dollar Attract

Mode Setup <23>   Determines attract mode appearance and sounds for the Top Dollar bonus mode.  The left digit of the Winner Paid window indicates which setting is being accessed:  1 = attract volume, 2 = attract light, 3 = attract sound.  To change the setting number, turn the jackpot reset key.  The setting values are displayed as follows:  right two digits of the Winner Paid window = attract volume; left two digits of the Credits window = attract light; and right two digits of the Credits window = attract sound.  Press the Spin Reels player switch to change the value of a setting.  After all the setting values have been selected, press the Change switch to preview the new options for the attract mode.  To save settings, exit this page by pressing the self test switch or Bet One Credit player switch.

Top Dollar Pay Table &
Virtual Display <0> [24]   Displays Top Dollar award data.  Winner Paid = total win amount for each bonus (bundle) combination.  Credits = high and low virtual range values for that win (alternately displayed).  Press the Spin Reels player switch to display the next total bonus win amount and virtual range values.

I don't own a Barcrest so I can't be sure, but these options are actually generic if you read them.

I attached a copy of SP978 just in the hopes that it will work out. propeller

Enjoy,
SF  garfield
