Title: Percent of payback in the Key menu
Post by: Big Ed Deline on October 03, 2012, 01:46:24 PM
I have read that to change the payback percent you have to have a whole different chip of that particular game. However when setting up a game after a Key chip, one of the menus asks what payback percent you want to set the machine at. Is this where you pick the actual percentage? or is this simply where you are supposed to input what ever your chip is?  Meaning... IF you have a 98% chip and set the internal machine menu at 96%, then its still a 98% machine.   Does that make sence?
If this is the case, then are there any consequences if you input the wrong percent.  For example, as I mentioned above Lets say I have a 98% chip and I tell the Key menu 90%, what happens?

Thanks.

On the older platforms like IGT's S+ and PE+ You had to install differnt chips. It sounds like You have  Game King - On these You can select the RTP from the Keychip Menu.

On your S2000, just select the % you want while in the Key Chip menu. No consequences.
