Title: MTG-2901CN Control Tovis
Post by: Taco on August 04, 2011, 01:57:04 AM
Hello,
I just found a new monitor to replace my Wells Gardner K4800, and when it arrived new in the box, the contrast pot was damaged (cracked in half). The pot is on VR720 and the pot itself has a 14 on it.

What are the pot's characteristics? What ohm pot, and can a Radio Shack pot be used to replace it?

The place where I bought the monitor said it was the last 13" new monitor available, and unfortunately I don't want to send it back bc I won't be able to find another one. :279- :279- :279-

Thanks..
Taco

Well if anyone hasn't already answered your question about VR720 it is marked "25" which is a 200K ohm pot. good luck
