hi there

i was given a pacific poker machine..game name- auto hold.. its a ten cent 5 reel machine.......

now the machine is dead and i would like to get it going again...

when i turn the power on . the machine lights up but nothing else works and a alarm noise is heard..  the main board is universal 8116-A2.. the battery on the main board looks a bit suss so i removed it from the main board as its on its own little board....there is also
three wires just hanging there near the reels where it looks like a service switch should be.....

-does the main board need the battery to make it work or should it still fire up without it.......
-i have tried the reset buttons but nothing happens
-i have posted a couple of pics..

A 5-reeler! Never have worked on one those.  :60-

Try a ram clear on startup. Push the small black button on the 8116, center-bottom, while turning the machine on.
