have  the above mentioned machine. will power up, E-2  in display,  no reset button/clear  like on regular models.  this one has reset on the panel that would normally have the test and service buttons. pressing the reset will make the code go away, and the number three reel to be locked in place. the other two can be turned by hand.  when you hold reset in and apply power the display will go to a E-9.  you can hear a crackle in the speaker. all fuses are good, the +5 vdc reads 4.7vdc,
the board in the machine is a 8205A, U001731.  the model # is 8463,  chips at a3,a4 are 8560  1221-1 and 1221-2, the chip at M-1 is M10402  8463,  the machine is a 5 coin multiplier,  the four fuses are 1153a, 30v3a, 9.5v3 and 24v3a.
Have nothing to compare too!, no book or schematics  nada   

any help would be appreciated.    don't know if pachitalk would have info on this.

Sounds like you have a OLYMPIA/HEIWA MACHINE.
