Just wondering how much it might be worth, it's in good condition and was recently working. It only just stopped working for some unknown reason after I had it fixed about a year ago. I live in Orlando, FL and it is for sale, but that's another post Smiley just wondering how much it would be worth or how I should go about selling it? Pawn shop? any other good online resources?

Thanks!

It will be tough to get a couple hundred bucks...you should really try and get it working to get any decent money for it. We have a few resident Universal experts on here...maybe post your games symptoms and someone will chime in...

Sorry to be a downer, but it's the truth...sad to say.

Hello,

I just bought this machine yesterday.  I had no idea what I was doing but took a gamble (pardon the pun) to see if I could get it working.  I did a lot of reading though the threads here and managed to get it up and running again thanks to all the wonderful advice.  Amazing how much you can learn from simply reading through these forums.

The machine is good but needs a few light bulbs and a little TLC.  The handle does get stuck in the down position quite a bit but I am going to try and grease up the lock ratchet and trip lever (more advice from a previous post) to see if that helps.

Thanks again to everyone here for sharing your expertise.   Hail

Stacy.

Not terribly difficult with all the help from everyone here!  And I didn't have to ask a single question, they were all already answered.   Grin

Just wondering, are you the original poster? Or did you buy the machine shown in the original pic? Or one identical?

Now that's where I feel a little guilty.  To actually get it working I just had to reset the memory (error code 12).  When I purchased the machine I had no clue as to what all was wrong with it so I gambled $75.00 and took the chance that I would eventually get it working without having to spend too much more money.  The gamble paid off.

There were a few other minor issues but pulling the main board and reseating it fixed those glitches.  Now all I need is to replace several of the lamps that are burned out, the two florescent lamp starters, and trouble shoot the min and max bet buttons (they don't do anything).

All-in-all, the machine is very clean inside and looks great cosmetically so I am very please with my $75.00 purchase!   yes

I am not the original poster, but I did purchase this exact machine (complete with zip-tie on the keys).
I found it on craigslist.  The person I purchased it from said it was her mothers and she was selling it for her.  Her and her husband had no idea what was wrong and we looked it over together to see if we could get it working to no avail.  They were asking $100.00 and I was going to walk away from the deal because I am clueless to slot machines.  They dropped the price to $75.00 and I figured at that price if I could not fix it, I could get rid of it to someone who could.

A first I thought I had just thrown away $75.00 but after some extensive on-line research I finally found this forum.

Well, good job on the repair and the purchase. I understand some people just don't care or have the time to get into slot repair. Sounds like it may be the same machine (zip ties kinda give it away), I'm guessing your near or in Orlando...

Anyway, again, good job!! Enjoy your machine!  wave

Yes, I am in Orlando.  I hope to find a place in the home for it.  Didn't realize how big these machines are until we were loading it into the car.
