Title: Mini-Photon progressive controller to S+ cable/Harness configuration
Post by: 72MachI on December 29, 2008, 03:10:41 AM
I picked up a mini-photon progressive controller board part #75109501 Rev-B and I'm not sure how it connects to the S+ slot.    From what I can find it sounds like it connects to the 15 pin molex connector thats in the top of the box, but I'm not sure what pins on each to connect.      The controller board has a 5-pin connector marked J63 and there is 15-pin molex connector in the top of the machine.

Does anyone know what these 5 pins on the controller board connect to on the 15 pin molex connector?
Thanks

Do you have an Upright or Slant top?
A different pinout for each.

Thanks for the pictures of both types of machines Edski.   I have an upright so I'll use the up_prog.jpg for reference.    From the picture it looks like it's show 6 wires but the controller board I have only has 5 pins.   Is one of the wires in the picture not used or am I missing some adaptor?

OOPS  :25-  I got my glasses out and sure enough the controller board has 6 pins.   I had looked at an old schematic of a board and it said 5 pin connector so I assumed it was 5, my mistake.    I'll make a cable and give it a try.
