Title: Bally E2308-1
Post by: flyingfred on December 23, 2013, 03:46:54 AM
I am a new owner of a Bally E2308-1 machine. I am experiencing a tilt problem and I will be researching fixes on this forum.

Merry Christmas to everyone here!!

Thanks to Foxes Slots replacement hopper board, my hopper now pays out as it should. I still get a tilt on the first play after the machine is unplugged for a while as it lets the 3 and 4 reel keep spinning. When I push the reset, all is good. I had tilt problems before when the hopper board was bad when I would push the cash out button. This is no longer an issue.

What I found in several of my E2000 series machines is: If the moving parts within the reel mechanism become sluggish due to grease "caking", you will see occasional tilts. The reels need to spin evenly. Also, the piston cup in the damper, if it's not working properly, you can tilt the machine. Replace the cup and OIL it, don't use grease.
