Hi There everyone,
My name is Aaron from Brisbane Australia.
Just want to say gday, Im an ex RAAF electronixcs tech by trade and I love arcade machines and fixing their boards because I love challenges / bad moods.
This is a great site from what I have read and I am happy to share anything I know to help out. I would love to have a slot machine but they are illegal to own down under because you might use it for gambling and cheat the gov't out of money -  no

I bought my first arcade machine 15 years ago from a garage sale and have not looked back. Lots of arguments with wife though.
Nothing in life that is fun is less than $100 I say.

Welcome aboard Aaron good to have another electronics tech around.  applause

Lots of us are in the same boat as far as illegality but we use these machines as our hobby
and not as the original use of making money illegally. Most  All of us in these states
do not charge our fiends and neighbors money to play. That invites BIG problems from the
authorities for sure. We repair and play for the fun of it.

What kind of arcade machines are you familiar with? I sure some members may have similar
types.
