Help!! I have a kortek 2914 flat screen with a very small vertical line. I have done a complete cap kit replaced IC201. still same problem.  It sounds like a relay is clicking in and out. I was told it was having a problem going on and off, that's when I did the cap kit, I was told it worked for a while.  Then it would only turn on after a few hrs of being on. so we left it on all the time, that worked for a while.  When I went back this time that's when I saw the vertical line. The line seams to have color, but who knows.   Also checked solder, I did reflow some, but no change.  I can't see any visible problems

sure will in a few, but not much to see, just one very small vertical line down the center. It looks like it has color

Sounds to me like you have a case of horizontal collapse, after looking at the schematic for a little bit, I would try replacing IC301.
