 waving flag American Flag My Bally 1000 series machine (1202) has a suspected bad MPU board.   Can you simply swap the EPROM into a 2000 series MPU board?  Or vise verse?  American Flag waving flag

the P1 game proms are interchangeable - the m1,m2,m3 are not.   you cannot put a e2000 mpu in a e1000 cabinet - you can put a e1000 into a e2000 but you have to bypass the reed relay on the board.

That brings up another question- in general, what do the non-game Eproms (M-1,2 & 3) do if the game is in M-7 ?  Scratch Head
