Ok here we go Bally 6000 with a door open code 50 1st I changed the optics with nown good ones still get a 50 but the thing that is puzzling is the validator turns green as to say door is closed  but will not take bills so I jumped the door sensor then get a code 55 remove jumper it goes back to 50 Is there any one who has run into this before Also this is a Quick paytime with bones in top of machine Scratch Head Help sleep

If you replaced eliminate the door issue and get a 55, the problem is that the BV isn't initializing correctly.  This happens when the cash box is old and the transport isn't strong enough to turn it correctly, or if the transport and/or head need cleaning or a new motor.  If you have a good working head/transport you can try it.  you can also try pulling slightly on the cash box while the bv is initializing.

I will add a little more.  The main door optic sensor attached to the cabinet should be able to be triggered by a bright light, I use this method to program x-10 acceptors which need the door closed to be powered up.

Wayne the validator dont even try to start  Pulled out the plug that the validator plugs into and found someone has cut all wires except 1 row of wires I am going to try to find another plug and try it all the plugs i have multiable plugs the one i need is the one from the validator to the I/O board with another plug from cash box door switch. I checked switch on door and it was ok
