Hi Folks--I have a Bally s5500 3 reel machine--also a spare set of reels-I cannot seem to locate where you would start the reel strip on the reels--is there  a simple solution?? Thanks-John T.
There must be tabs on the reels--but I can only find one applause new

you only need one bump(to fit in notch), and it would be on the left when looking at the reel.  I usually feel with my fingernail for it.  the strips have two notches, which should be marked for slant and upright.
