Can anyone tell me whether or not the Players Edge video poker button and switch set will fit into the older Fortune One machine before I order a set of buttons and switches that I cannot use?

I think the bases or of a different width, so it'd either be loose and move around or you'll have to widen the holes, which IMO, wouldn't be too easy.

I couldn't get a clear capture of the fortune 1 button base but here's the PE

I recant my prior response - the 1" square buttons will work - I am in the process of converting a fortune 1 from the original button/switch to modern push button with cherry switch.  Alot easier to maintain down the road - tough job especially with the poor quality wire diagrams that are copies of originals (the originals are hard enough - make a copy and you need to guess at codes).
