OK, machine looks great, almost new looking (Strange since its from 1982), anyway...  When I turn it on, all the lighting works, nothing else Scratch Head No monitor, no led on the board, no hopper, nata hissy fit Where the hell do I start??  The two circuit breakers are fine as is the fuse on the monitor. Burning Resistor  Help  Help  Help

Soooo, do I assume the board and monitor in this cherry beast are  Burning Resistor ?  Just need to know where to begin....

I had the same problem on a couple of the F1's, so I just unpluged mine to make sure. Both times it has been the molex plug on the bottom of the monitor. With it unpluged you will have lights but nothing else. Inspest and clean both ends and reseat it.

OK, finally had time to look at the machine.  I wish it was the plug, but it looks like the monitor chassis board is toast! hissy fit  I'm guessing my chances of finding another board are slim...  Scratch Head 

Its a RCB Model #1401

Hi (again) rilaw,

If the picture is a shot of the main board in a RGB monitor, the board is probably ok, the hot spots are pretty normal for a RGB monitor...if all the traces are good all you (normally) need to do is replace all the electrolytic capacitors...about 95% of the time this will bring a RGB back to "life".
