Hello all!

Ok, this is a machine I sold someone a few months ago and it's having an issue.  I'm just looking for suggestions right now as I am not in front of the machine and he is not in front of the machine.  He is going to call me later tongiht when he is in front of the machine.

He said, while his friend was playing it - he "slapped" the machine (whatever that means...lol!)  and the reels started spinning slowly and gives a “bill validator stacker door open” error.  I figured this was the machine thinking the main door had opened during play as I've had this happen myself.  I know this machine had the stacker door wires spliced together - so it's not the validator door switch.  Anyway, I told him to open the Main door and turn the reset key to get the reels to stop spinning, but that didn't work.

What should I have him try next?  I assume have him remove the cash can and make sure to re-insert it good.  I will also have him check the belly door switch.  I was surpirsed the turning the reset key with door open didn't stop the reels spinning...that has worked for me when the door has wiggled during play - makes me think something else is going on.

Dan #2, I think you are on track. Have him open the cash can door, pull the can and then reinsert and close the door completely. He probably jarred the cash can door open a little bit. A reel tilt will also cause the reels to spin slowly but you would also get that error on the VFD. Oh, and then turn the reset key.

On my S+ when I get a Reel Tilt - Error 41, 42 or 43. The reels continually spin albeit slowly.....

While I do not have a S2000 this sounds vaguley familar.

Hello all!

Yes - why the hell someone would slap a machine!@?!?@?!

Anyway, he just called in front of the machine.  He didn't realize what key I was talking about when I said the reset key - so then he figured out what I was saying.  So opened main door, turned reset/jackpot key and closed main door - problem solved!

Thanks everyone for your input.
