I just bought my first slot, IGT S2000 Double 5xs.   We love it.   BUt now we need our first HELP !

It's bills only, ticket payout (disabled), $.25

Here's what it says on the top/back:
WBA - 12/13 - SS
ID 024 USA
V 3.80 - 34 (D1F3)

The BV stacker is in all the way.  The BV is in all the way.  When I turn it on it sounds like it cycles normally.   If I try to load some $20s it will take one of 10 (where it use to take all 10).  It reads them and spits them back out.

Any suggestions?  I'm an ex-tech (not for slots) and know enough to be dangerous therefore I'm trying to stay hands off until I get some basic advice.

Thanks !  Much appreciated

There are 2 things it could be.  Either the BV needs calibration or the 4 o rings they use to pull the bills in are slipping and need replacing.

In my experience, sometimes you simply need to clean the BV head with a mild cleaner. Some people say to use dish soap, I like to use simple green diluted about 10 to 1, then blow it out with air or wait for it to dry before you put it back in the machine. If the BV is pulling the bills in to slowly then you could try cleaning the plastic gears and bushings under the gears. The recommended way is to take the gears off and clean with a mild soap.

Thanks brianfink and bhinkley for both thoughts.
I'll check the orings and clean the heads.  I think it's more of a verification things.   I'll try 10 different 20s and only one or two will work.

You're welcome.  That's what typically will happen with any of the ideas we have mentioned.
