Was this machine working (taking coins) before?
Option 81 needs to be set to 0001 if it has a coin comparator

you might want to post a pic of the coin mech (inside of door).  Also check to see if the light is lite on the coin in optics, I think it should also be lite on the coin comparator with door open.

Are you using quarters and do you have coin in optics for small coins?

I was thinking the light should be on on the coin comparator even with door open.  Check your wiring harness to be sure no wires are pulled loose.  Maybe someone else can chime in on whether light should lite or not.

did you check to make sure you have the right coin in opticsw for the coin size you're using.  If you have a dollar size coin in optics it will not see all quarter size coins.

here's section from manual about coin comparator:
69 Coin Acceptor
(0000) Coin Mechanisms, Inc. CC-16
0001 IDX X-20â„¢ dual denomination coin acceptance (Default if MC=16)

check option 69, make sure you have the right coin comparator selected
