The 8 amp fuse blows (which light the lights, powers the bell, and not sure else) seemingly blows when I close the door. I can replace it and then as soon as I close the door... the lights go out again.
There is a push button at the right bottom that gets pushed in when the door closes. Does anyone know if that is my problem? Has it possibly gone bad?
Any Ideas?
Thanks in advance, Jim

I think it's more likely the wires are chafed where they come round the hinge, and short to the chassis when you close the door. It could be a loose wire somewhere else on the door, near one of the lights for example, that touches bare metal when the door closes. You can test your button idea by pushing it with the door open - if the fuse then blows, you know it's the button not the door.

Thank you very much. I found the wire just as you said. A little electrical tape and the problem is solved.
Thanks again, Jim
