Need help again Smiley ...I bought a new pooltable and traded my old one to a friend for a Konami slot machine.

It does not accept coins(no comp.) . What type does it take?

Also it does not have a hopper... Does it have to be a Konami hopper or will another type fit?

And how do I clear all the old play records ?

Can I just change the glass and cd for a new game?

Also looking for a manual for the game.

can I make the printer print winning tickets or does it need to hooked into a network?

Thanks for the help.

Ok,I'll post pictures ... my question was of what? Only thing I can think of would be where the hopper should be.

Ok,I'll post pictures ... my question was of what? Only thing I can think of would be where the hopper should be.

I would post a picture of the exterior, of the inside of the door where the coin comparitor should go, of the inside of the machine where the hopper should be, and of any other interior details that might help. Are there any loose harness connectors near the comparitor location? It might help to show those as well. The reason that I suggested posting pictures was because no one had offered help and almost 24 hours had past (at the time of my previous post).

I tried posting pictures but it said they were to large...let me rezize them. Only connection not hooked up is where the compairtor should be...all the brackets are there. If I could find the manual I think that would answer all of my questions  hissy fit

We had to restrict file attachment size and count recently when a bug was discovered that blew up an entire thread (it could not be recovered). You will only be able to post two pictures per post, so just make multiple posts if you need to.

Nice machine!
I don't know a thing about Konami nor do I know anyone who owns one.
The hopper plug looks like an Asahi-Seiko brand hopper plugs in there. Just a guess.
The comparitor harness is a seven pin connector with six pins wired. Not sure what goes there.
Hope someone chimes in who knows Konami, I know how frustrating it can be trying to get info on uncommon machines!
Good luck,

Jim

I've searched everywhere for a manual, no luck yet. I thought IGT's were easy to work on until I started with Sigma's ,however,Konami's I have no clue. Worst part is trying to find info.  hissy fit

An EL reset/setup key can be purchased from East Coast Slots for about $400.
Game change - CD (can copy), 4x Eproms and Glass.
The manual posted here is slightly different to the machine we have. I still cant get the damn printer to work when it is not connected to an online system. I will run some tests with this manual (first one I have seen!) and I heard that Aristocrat (new owners?) has released a fix for this

Beko.

Thanks Beko, I'll check around for a key and if I find them i will let you know. I need to get paper for the printer to be able to play with it  Scratch Head . I turned the printer on and tried putting paper(singles that I had from last trip to casino) and guess it has a sensor when its out cause my single would run through it then the screen would say out of paper.

Hi Randy,

When you put the single through, did it actually print any info on the ticket? If so, could you tell me the socket number on the backplane board where the printer harness is connected.

I have been told that these Konamis can only print when connected to an online accounting system. There is a workaround using a CDS (now owned by Aristiocrat) Sentinal II board, but I cant find a wiring diagram or info on how to do this.

No,nothing printed on it. I was thinking it was like a auto feed ... so the first one it would just grab and send through. Since I only had one,it would show paper out error. I'm going to grab a roll of paper from the store and try that,I'll let you know.

Ok,here is a update  Duh! I found most of the EL keys for a few dollars ( did not have mine). Tried a few times on printing out a ticket... no luck. The best I can do so far is under the option menu is to "test printer" which will print out a "void " ticket ... which just says void everywhere on the ticket Scratch Head  . My printer does not flash now, just stays lit  Hail I installed a hopper ,coin head... but not sure of the CC yet Duh! so under options the hopper is still off.
