I just acquired an "as is" Bally Naughty Nickels 5000 Plus machine. The exterior is in excellent condition. Getting it to work, however, may take some time and help from this forum. The first step is obvious... replace the missing power supply. Anyone have a used power supply for sale that fits this series machine?

Anyone know if the power supply for a 5500 series is the same as the 5000 Plus?

No, it isn't the same as the ProSlot 5500

I can’t image you will find a working one, because the power supply is t h e problem with the series 5000.
I always replaced the original ps with a cheap at power supply. But you need one more because the at ps has no 24v output the hopper needs. It was always easy to find a ps that produces 24v output. I put both behind the feature glass .

mctuerk, That is an excellent and very clever solution. Thanks for sharing that tip.

McTuerk,
I'm having power supply issues with my 5000 as well. Is there anything special I need to convert it over to a normal power supply other than a 2nd one for 24v output?
