So what about cutting the cheese in front of your wife, girlfriend, kids, the guys, parents, co-workers, etc?  Or do you think it's crude and only do it in privacy?

My kids think it's hilarious when I do it, but understand that it's not appropriate...know your audience.  My wife doesn't like it, but when it's the right moment, pitch, volume level, she can't hold back the laughter....until it stinks, then it's far from funny.  I used to around my parents when I was a kid...not anymore.  Grandpa does it in front of me, but not intentionally. 
Interestingly enough though, if my wife or mother ever peeled off a loud one, I'd freak out.  Maybe I'm a pig, but there's something wrong with a female cutting a big wet one.  I just can't get my head around it. 

Anyway, what about you guys?

I have a buddy that tried the "Covered Wagon" (cutting one in bed and then pulling the sheets over her head) on his wife thinking it would be funny...she never forgave him.

Jason  Your right, there is a whole lot of information I don't want to know. I grew up with the "pull my finger" gag, which when the finger is pulled a fart happens. As an adult now, I learned it is all about timing.

The grandkids laff like hell when hearing one... so I have an app on the phone that once set up, will fart loudly when the phone is moved. I will set it up and tell the kids to get my phone. They havent dropped it yet....

Got home from a 750 mile run on the harley Sunday, sat for a bit with the wife, stood up and let one go that lasted I bet 2 minutes.... musta been stuck in me the whole trip. Even she was impressed.

And yes, it is a "dutch oven"... my wife got me once when first married "by accident" she said. Ya, right.

My wife only recently started letting them fly in front of me. But... I think I farted in front of her on our first date. I was tired of trying to pretend I was some one I wasn't. I Fart, you Fart, She Farts, He Farts..... I also took her out BBQ Ribs on our first date. we've been married for nearly a decade so.... hey there must be something magical in my gas.....
