Slotmachinewholesale has some explaining to do. So I'm looking on E-Bay and I see a Double Diamond Haywire for sale by slotmachinewholesale and I think to myself wow that picture looks  familiar, why? Cause I bought that Machine from Jim at Bettorslots. This person is using a picture of  Jim's  DD Haywire as his own. This is wrong. If you are going to post a picture of a slot machine that you're selling it should be of the actual Machine.  Jim puts in a lot of time and pride into his machines and no one should be using pictures of his machines to sell theirs. Look at the two links and see for yourself. On Jim's page the pic about halfway down and if look close you can Jim's reflection in the player tracking plate.

Sure is I think Jim should start adding his bettorslots.com to the pictures

The picture also shows the illuminated bill sticker and led bulbs on the button panel
which I doubt they do or ever thought about, unless they bought the machine from Jim.
I always like the way Jim has the back ground blacked out so the machine really pops out at you

I just used the "ask seller a question" function to ask:

Quote
Does this machine have the green light-up "this machine accepts $1 $5 etc." sticker on the front of it, as shown in the picture? Also, does this machine have colored LEDs in the buttons, as it appears to have in the picture? Thank you.

We'll see what the answer is.

I agree, Jim should watermark his pictures with his company name and/or website to help thwart the efforts of people who would steal his images.

This is not the first time this has happened. Several months ago, I notified a member here that someone on ebay was using his pics, and another was doing the same on craigslist.
Good eyes there Daddy2yea!  applause

Is there perhaps that the seller is one and the same---- Scratch Head.  Not uncommon to sell items using diff. accounts from what I have seen in diff. markets.  Was just a thought on my part>>>B.

If user B is hotlinking company A's pictures... then company A can watermark their pics... or better yet, change it on their website and replace the hotlinked picture with porn to get user B in trouble. Wink

If user B copied the picture then company A can only report the auction to eBay.

Company A just sent company B a nice letter.

Hey scum bag...why don't you get off your lazy ass and do your own work?  If your going to steal pictures off another company you might want make sure they are further away than 2 hours drive.  Thought this link might be of interest to you.

Heh...sorry...guess I'm a little ticked.

I guess I could have been polite and said something like:

"Dear nice gentleman, we seem to minor misunderstanding.  It seems you have accidentally copied a picture of a custom refurbishment project of my own, a product that my company has sold or sells, off of the Internet and accidentally represented as your own.  Knowing your reputation as a leader in this industry and your high set of standards I have no doubt this is an obvious oversight and clerical error on either your part or perhaps one of your many staff members.  If you would be so kind as to correct this issue by replacing the accidentally copied photo with one of you own it would b e greatly appreciated.  Have a nice day and if you're ever in town, please stop by and lets do lunch."

But nah...any individual or company that stoops to this level doesn't deserve politeness.  What you are seeing here is a representation of todays society and it's youth.  I see a pattern from our youths from what I see and read and hear in the news about our capitalistic society.  You could argue, well this kind of thing always goes on, and it does, but not to the degrees I have seen as of late.  And in the past 5 years at the highest levels.  People SIT around and ask why our country is suddenly failing?...problem is success comes from work, hard work.  And when you do succeed as a result of hard work, others around you do what they can to bring you down or attempt to copy what you've done.  If your going to sit around and just coast through your life leaching off others you may have moments of success, but life long, you're going to fail.

Well perhaps.... just perhaps..... he was actually intendending on selling that machine at 25% above Bettors prices.
Then he would turn around and facilitate that sale by buying the "as pictured" machine from Jim.

Thus both being in a win-win situation.....

I am not disagreeing..... just trying to be the optimist....

You could always send a letter mocked up to look like it was from Bettor&Bettor partners in law stating copy-right violations.
Please contact us immediately .....to arrange licensing & settlement of claim.

I am sure if Office Max lifted a picture from a Staples flyer there would be legal papers being exchanged......

I have been in "que" waiting to speak with Ebay police since 10:00 AM... arrow  They are raking in millions but can only afford a staff of 3 people in India to handle such things as this.

bust gut laughing Not necessary to take it so far on something so minor... just a matter of principal.  Truth is the picture is not "copyrighted" legally per say.... just want the guy to know it's better to do his own work and take his own pictures.
