Title: Bally ERROR CODE 40 REEL INITIALIZATION
Post by: CYRIL1973 on December 26, 2008, 08:21:46 AM
HI!

My machine started with a 83F error, the safe ram cleared it all, after a few minutes the reels kept turning, there's been no way to stop them ever since... What to do apart from  breaking the machine with a hammer?

Thanks a lot!

Cyril

Did you replace the Battery to get the 83F error, if so when you ram cleared did you hold down the Test and Psuedo Buttons on the front of the board to get a CL C message? then remove the jumper and on initializing they will jump around a bit, if you are getting the 4x code, you either have a bad reel or if direct sunlight is on the machine with door open will cause that as well

Hi,

Thanks for your answer.

Even after a safe ram clear, the 40 error code still appears...
