I would like it to operate like a normal LCD screen except there will be 3 large rectangle holes in it.
You may have seen this done with the WMS transmissive reel glass units.
Is this possible to do?

Hmm, there's a big break between the lower group (ending with Bunker) and the higher group (starting with Yoeddy.)

Yoeddy, you're draggin' ! You haven't even passed Joey yet. arrow mooners He only has about 150 posts on you, but then again, he stared a new thread every week for over a year when he was doing the "video of the week." series.

Munch, you only need two more to take the lead!  Cheer Leader az  (Okay, you're not from AZ, but it fits.)

To address the topic, Bunker, I think it might be better to just wait until transmissive LCD technology becomes affordable than to try to invent a workaround version. The wait shouldn't be too long. Once you can buy an affordable generic transmissive LCD, then you could have fun adapting it to work in a slot.

Just my 2ยข

I agree Stat.
I just wanted to start the thread to see if anyone's had any info on the technology.
I also seen some round top LCDs on the floor...I'm not kidding...
The top quarter of the LCD screens were rounded!
I thought that was amazing to see really.
I think Toshiba is making rounded LCD panels out there.
