If someone would be so kind as to upload the 5500 manual again I would be very grateful. Thank you very much for such a wonderful forum.

Thank you very much for your generous offer of help. As I browse through the forum I was very impressed with the genuine spirit and calm patience of the more experienced forum members helping those that are not as technically adept. I've got a project going with trying to restore a much neglected 1996 Bally slant top Triple Sevens. I am hoping to get it workable in time for my sister's birthday at the end of this month. She's had a very rough year health wise in general, and now is unable to visit any casino's. So I intend to bring the casino to her!! I'm more than sure I'll be needing your good advice very soon. But first, I'd like to familiarize myself with all the information available in the manual so that I can troubleshoot in an efficient manner and not make it harder than it has to be. I'm an experienced electronic technician and can make good use of Bally's wealth of information supplied in that manual. As a technician, I realize the value of experience compared to just reading the literature. Like I said, I'll be needing your valuable help soon enough and as such I don't want to waste your time with basic things that have been covered many times in previous postings (and the manual). Since the 6000 manual was available I've looked through it with much interest. But, it is NOT a 5500, and since the 5500 manual is (hopefully) available, I prefer to use it rather than interpet another manual and "make do". I thank you for taking an interest in me and look forward to interacting with all the wonderful members here. Wizzdave

Look in the "Submit a New File" link at the top .. you will find a Bally 5500 zip file in there.

Oh thank you very, very much OhioGaming. I'm fixing the game to give to my sister. It'll make her very happy, which in turn makes me very happy. I hope the same measure of happiness comes your way knowing that your gesture of giving may seem a small thing to you.... But, it helped to heal a family that is having a difficult time. I know I kinda "went the long way 'round the barn" in trying to give you a simple "Thank You". But I wanted you to know some measure of gratitude that was more than just a "thanks dude".   Wizzdave
