I recently bought a CEI 906III v51.07 machine that was not functional. I have gotten as far I can get on my own with fixing it. My problem is that I'm having some video glitch issue. The video looks like it is grabbing the wrong video data and displaying on the screen. I assumed that it was a problem with the video eproms since the stickers were removed from the chips. However, I managed to dump the data from the video eproms and verify it with a “known source” and the video eproms matched. I then checked the program eproms to see if I had a bad one. It looks like the program is all there however my “known source” files are from a version 51.08 machine and mine is a 51.07 according to my eprom dump. So they don't match. I was wondering if someone had version 51.07 files so I could compare or should I just try installing version 51.08 on my machine and see if that works? Also does anyone have any schematics or a complete manual? The operator's manual that was included with my machine is missing some pages.

Also does this machine use an isolating transformer? I would like to see if it’s maybe a power supply or noise issue but there are no markings on the transformer.

I've scoped the voltages on the main board and they are all clean and rock solid. I've also upgraded the eproms on the board to version 51.08 and it still does the same thing. The errors on the screen change when something else changes. For example I insert a coin and the text for the winning hands change. So now that I know my program is good I'm leaning towards a stuck bit somewhere. Does anybody have a schematic or manual someplace?

I just fixed one of those problems.

Your signals may look good but if you replace the 7 sockets on the board the confetti will go away.
