From all my research on this one,
You can install a 904 board in a 906 III
you can not install a 906 III board in a 904
Cal Omega was backwards compatible, but not forwards compatible.
I was also told that the 906III Turbo boards can only be used in a 906III Turbo (Gamblers Choice) machine.
I hope this helps and I'm still experimenting around with this stuff so data may change very soon.

Too bad, but thanks for the info. I've got two machines in perfect condition that would be worth more if those boards worked! Oh, well. Let me know if anything changes.
