What is the difference between a CEI 906 turbo board and the earlier 906 version? Can the turbo board be used in the earlier models?
How can you remove a MUX error. My machine has no bill acceptor if that makes a difference. Any info would be appreciated.
Thanks.

You can not use a turbo board in a regular 906 II machine.
IF you got the MUX error to clear you might get it to boot with the turbo board, but since the clock speed is differant it will be deadly slow to respond to play.

I had one and it was a 45 second delay.

Thanks for the info....but how can I visually tell the difference between a 906 II and a turbo board? I bought a replacement board off of ebay and I thought the board was a replacement for my 906 II, but I am having a problem getting it to work. I just would like to know if I bought the wrong board. The board that I bought, looks like the board that is bad.

Ok.....I'll answer my own dumb question. The board is marked as a 906 III Turbo board. I either need a 906 III working board or someone to repair my non-working 906 III non-turbo board. Can anyone help me? Thanks.

If you have a MUX error, than it's a turbo board.

I have a bunch of boards that I need to sell. All are untested and I can't ship until I return from the holidays.
I don't know if this will help you out since they are untested. I'll post them in the classifieds when I return

Thanks for your reply. I would be interested in one or two of the boards for the CEI 906 III without the turbo if the price is right.
You can contact me at ucanwin777@aol.com or call me at 414-425-6242. Thanks. Jerry
